Great question! Like most metals, barium can naturally be found in minerals such as barite and witherite.

Cool fact about barium: Barium compounds are used to produce green coloured fireworks.

      Heya,

Barium is one of the elements in the periodic table. It comes from the mineral barite. Barite rocks can be found in most places around the world.

Almost half of all the barium produced for industry comes from China.

Barium is in the Earth’s crust and sea water in small amount. Most of the barite (mentioned by Andrei) is produced in the northern hemispshere.
