• Question: What will happen if the sun died out

      If the sun dies, then our plane will not receive any heat which would cause the temperature to drop. It wouldn’t be a sudden freeze because the planet’s core is still radiating heat. However, the surface would freeze together with the top layers of the oceans.

      Besides providing us with light and heat, the Sun is also keeping us in orbit. If the Sun would be to suddenly die and it’s mass would vanish, then our planet will most probably shoot of its orbit.

      Regardless of the consequences, there are no good news for humans… Frightening thought though…
