• Question: is it true if you eat lots of carrots you can see in the dark

      Hi!
      This was actually how my mum made me eat all my carrots when I was younger 🙂 “Eat up all your carrots, you’ll be able to see in the dark!”

      And it turns out, my mum wasn’t exactly wrong! Carrots contain something called beta-carotene, which the body is able to turn into vitamin A. And vitamin A is really important for healthy eyesight.

      So no, you can’t actually see in the dark if you eat lots of carrots but they will make your eyesight much better and healthier, so don’t stop eating them!
