      Hello again Renniec!

You’re asking some great questions today.

Humans came about on this planet because they evolved from other animals. Evolution is a very slow process and sometimes takes millions of years. Although all life essentially evolved from the same ancestor billions of years ago; humans, chimpanzees and other apes all evolved from a common ancestor around 15-20 million years ago.

The first humans evolved around 2.3 million years ago. These were called Homo habilis. But all people alive nowadays are a species called Homo sapiens. And these first came about around 200,000 years ago.

      Hope that answers your question!
