The best way is to wait quietly in an area you’re very likely to see one. Maybe you have some bird feeders in the garden? Or a local park with some fruiting and flowering trees? Sit quietly, maybe 4metres away, preferably not wearing too brightly coloured clothing or fidget too much! It does require some patience, but as the birds slowly realise you’re not a threat, they will feel increasingly confident about about visiting the bird feeder. It may take time, but definitely worth it to see all their beautiful colours and watch their behaviour. Happy bird watching!
