• Question: Do you know how many good bacterias there are and how many bad bacterias there are?

      Another good question.

      I don’t know how many different bacteria there are- many types of bacteria haven’t been discovered or investigated yet, as some are very difficult to grow! For example there are bacteria that grow in the deep sea or under lots of ice in Antarctica (so they can be difficult to find).

      People think that there are more good helpful bacteria than bad bacteria though. Its just that people talk more about the bad bacteria, because we want to find ways the make sure we don’t get ill from them.
