      Hi magical unicorn.

Though we make think of humans as all being fairly standard, our planet is full of some quite remarkable people. Not quite to the extent of being Superman…but close.

Some people have super vision. Normal human eyes perceive lots of different colours. This is because we have 3 types of cones (sensitivity cells) in our eyes. But some people have 4 cones! They are called tetrachromats and can see even more colours in more subtle shades than we can.

Some people have their senses crossed, so they see colour but hear a sound.

In all of us there is a superhuman. In moments of extreme danger or fear, our body can often do a lot more than we are capable of, such as run at double speed or find an enormous strength. They may not wear capes or masks, but this world is so diverse I am certain there are thousands of people with unusual, beneficial talents.

      Hi!
Great question. I don’t have much to add after Helen’s excellent answer other than a few examples.

As Helen mentions, there are some truly remarkable people in the word. There’s a man who can pull a plane with just the strength of his ears, a man who hasn’t slept for 30 years and there’s a man who can eat anything! There are people who can remember anything after seeing it just once and a man who can blow a balloon with his ears …..
